    Smart hinge, great flexibility
    Acer's innovative Ezel Aero Hinge™ features two separate hinge mechanisms that work together to allow seamless transition between six user modes. This fantastic hinge also keeps the display very stable when you use it for touch control.

    Thin, light, and tough
    The touchscreen and its back cover are encased in two slices of Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 – which makes the top panel very tough, beautiful, and strikingly slender. At only 1 inch thin (17.95mm) thin and 1.5kg light, the Aspire R 13 is a joy to pack and carry.

    A pen for your thoughts
    The Aspire R 13’s touchscreen works perfectly with the new Acer Active Pen1, which uses Acer Hover Access technology to activate pop-up, tap-on menus. The result is a more intuitive writing experience that is also very convenient, fun and productive.

    Visual delight
    You can choose between a WQHD display with power-saving IGZO technology that delivers super-crisp images, or a Full HD display with wide viewing angles (IPS technology) and optical clarity solutions. All models feature direct bonding (Zero Air Gap) for a brighter, crisper display.

    Cinematic surround sound
    Immerse yourself in movies with Dolby® Digital Plus Home Theater™ -- sound technology that is crafted to bring every movie to life and put you in the middle of the action.

    Comfortable viewing
    Corning’s AR/ETC (antireflective and easy-to-clean) glass coating reduces screen glare and improves contrast, while also making it very easy to clean the screen. A built-in light sensor auto-adjusts brightness levels to further enhance eye comfort and power efficiency.

    Great video conferencing
    This laptop has dual-array microphones for noise-free voice communication. Acer Purified.Voice technology tracks the voice of the speaker as he or she moves around the room. The Aspire R 13 is also Skype Certified because it has all the high-quality hardware required for great audio and video chats.
